First snow of season sweeps across the prairie

Blustery weather late last week had folks scrambling for heavy coats, snow boots and ice scrapers following a mostly mild fall that graced the area this year. For the 24 hour period from 7 a.m. Friday, November 12 to 7 a.m. Saturday, November 13, official weather recorder for Wessington Springs, Kathy Voorhees, documented two inches of snow with .07 moisture.
