Hilarity ensued when host Todd Braun stepped on the stage with local students, law enforcement, business people and firemen as they faced off in a game show-style fundraising event Sunday evening during a live version of Family Feud: WS Pool Edition.
In front of a crowd of over 300 people, contestants took part in a good-natured feud to raise funds for the Wessington Springs Pool Renovation project. Teams competed to name the most popular responses to survey questions, with the “Fitzgeralds” team, made up of local law enforcement, winning the championship round
Teams entered a drawing to win a chance to play the final game for $50. The “Kolousek Cannonballs” and “The Talent Pool” took the stage after winning the drawing late in the game.
The City of Wessington Springs Pool Task Force thanks the Family Feud sponsors, attendees, contestants and volunteers for supporting the pool renovation project and this event, taking an important step forward with pool fundraising efforts.
