Festivities Planned for Easter Weekend

A hearty breakfast paired with an opportunity to visit with the Easter Bunny sets the stage for family-friendly fun at the fire hall in Wessington Springs the morning of April 3. 

The Wessington Springs Fire Department (WSFD) invites Easter Egg Hunt attendees and the community as a whole to head to the fire hall for a free-will pancake and sausage breakfast on Saturday, April 3 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. before or after the hunt.  

The fundraiser will help the department with equipment and operational costs.

New this year, firemen are offering free in-town delivery until 12 p.m.  for those unable to attend the event in person, call 539-1888.   

Community Easter Egg Hunt Returns 

On the heels of the 2020 window/drive-by Easter egg hunt held due to concerns around the coronavirus pandemic, Jerauld/Buffalo County 4-Hers are excited to announce the return of the  Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt in-person at the City Park in Wessington Springs this year.

The event that boasts over 1000 hidden prize-filled eggs  is slated for April 3 at 10 a.m.
