City guidelines for restricted use solid waste site inserted in this week’s paper
Inserted in this week’s True Dakotan, readers will find the Authorized and Unauthorized Waste Guidelines for the Wessington Springs Restricted Use Solid Waste Facility.
The city council reminds residents that it is a privilege for the city to have this site available for the community to use. When residents do not follow the guidelines, it puts the community at risk of the state closing access to use of this site.
“Please remember that plastic bags, plastic containers and cardboard are not allowed at this site. Additionally, any white goods that contain freon must be disposed at the city street shop,” explained Aaron Roesler, City of Wessington Springs Ward One councilman. “Thank you for taking the time to read and follow these guidelines to ensure proper use of this location.”
