Lyle Moldrem, 77 of Marion, formerly of Wessington Springs, passed away on April 8, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family. Memorial Visitation was held from 2 - 4 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2024 at the Hofmeister-Jones Funeral Chapel in Marion. Burial will be held at the South Dakota Veteran’s Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements provided by Hofmeister-Jones Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the family or directly to the Wessington Springs Pheasants Forever Chapter for youth activities.

Chris Wahl, age 61, of Lane, died Saturday, March 16, 2024, at his residence. Memorial services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Basham Funeral Services in Wessington Springs.

Alexa Jeanne Kleppin, age 95, of Wessington Springs, died Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at Weskota Manor in Wessington Springs. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Foothills Bible Fellowship in Wessington Springs. Burial followed at Prospect Hill Cemetery. Visitation was from 5-7 a.m., Wednesday, also at the church, with a prayer service at 7.

Cindy Lutter, 64, of Gann Valley, SD, died Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 5, at St. Margaret’s Catholic Church in Kimball, SD. Burial was at St. Margaret’s Catholic Cemetery in Kimball. Visitation was Thursday April 4, from 5-7 p.m. at the church with a 6:30 p.m. prayer service. Arrangements by Bittner Funeral Chapel.

Harold G. Brunsen, of Kingsville, TX and Wessington Springs, South Dakota passed away on March 24, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter. His warm memories will forever be cherished by those who knew him. Harold was born on April 3, 1932.
