Congratulations to Barb on her years at the Carnegie Library. I remember the years of Gertrude Jackson. My brother, Myron Hinrichs, and I loved going to the Library during our growing up years. We got as many books as allowed and spent our free time reading, sometimes late at night. We were careful to get them dropped back off before the deadline, sometimes on Sunday morning when we came to town to Church. We will never forget what seemed like endless rows of books to choose from, and the enjoyment and knowledge we got from those books. We remember Gertrude Jackson with fondness.
