Reserve a table for “Evening of the Ages” a unique, entertainment-filled event aimed at benefiting the Springs Rec Center and Wessington Springs Pool Renovation projects, scheduled for September 21, 2019.
The gala affair is held in conjunction with Wessington Springs homecoming week and aims to please every genre and generation.  Gala goers are encouraged to reserve their tables of eight as soon as possible as seating is limited. Dress is business casual/semi-formal and anyone wishing to”glam it up” with an evening gown or tuxedo is encouraged to do so.
Social hour begins at 5:30 p.m. at the Jerauld County Ag Building, leading into dinner prepared by Sweet Grass accompanied by music through the decades from 6 - 7:30 p.m. provided by WSHS graduate Mike Gohring. A fancy dessert auction will take place during supper.
The distinct event will then move to the American Legion, where a live auction with must-see items will go to the highest bidder from 8 - 9 p.m. At 9:15 p.m. the crowd will enjoy entertainment performed by comedian/magician, Jerry Frasier.
Tables that seat eight guests are being sold for $400 and include both the dinner at the Ag Building and auction and entertainment at the Legion. Tickets for those only attending the comedy show can be purchased for $25. Seating is limited. Tables and tickets may be obtained by contacting Ryan Jensen at (605) 350-0520 or Hilary Grohs at (605) 680-9901.
Proceeds from the table sales and auction will be split between both projects. Anyone interested in making a pledge to one or both projects may do so at the event as well.
