Wessington Springs Majors weathered a scare by Ethan SD in the third inning where Wessington Springs coughed up three runs, but Wessington Springs still won 7-4 at home last  Thursday. Wessington Springs captured the lead in the first inning and took the lead for good with four runs in the third inning. 

In the third Maverick Jones singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run and Branden Flowers doubled on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs.

Karter Mebius led things off on the hill for Wessington Springs. He allowed three hits and four runs over three innings, striking out one.

Jones went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Wessington Springs in hits.  Wessington Springs tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Blake Larson led the way with two.
