WSHS Senior Spotlight – Quinten Christensen

To continue our senior spotlight, this week’s featured senior is Quinten Christensen.

Quinten is very active in his hobbies in and out of school. His favorite activities he enjoys include sports, hanging out with friends and hunting.

After high school, Quinten plans to attend South Dakota State for Ag Business and play football for the Jackrabbits.

The best thing about senior year, according to Quinten, is getting to spend one last year with his buddies before college. His favorite high school memory is the homecoming festivities he participated in with his class including whitewashing and smashing a pickup at the football pep rally. Something he thinks others should know about him is that he likes to make people laugh and have fun.

Quinten has accomplished many things throughout his high school journey. His achievements in school consist of being a good student and serving as the student council president. His accomplishments in high school sports are comprised of winning state wrestling and being selected as all-state for football.

Quinten is excited to finish his high school career and continue his education at SDSU as well as participate in collegiate football.

Editor’s note: The above “senior Spotlight” is the second in a series of features highlighting the class of 2022, written by WSHS journalism students Cade Mohling and AJ Neely.
