This week we bring a project from last school year to our Artist’s corner. This project was completed by Advanced Art II student, Teagan Scheel. Teagan is always coming up with creative and unique projects in Advanced Art. For the last project of the school year, Teagan worked with ink to create a duck drawing. He sketched the picture out first with a pencil and then began going over the pencil with his ink pen. He created light to dark shading with his ink pen by adjusting how close together or far apart he put the lines. He also helped the duck look rounded and threedimensional by curving or angling the lines on the duck’s body and wings. This took a little time, but his hard work and efforts paid off into an amazing artwork!
