Vendor/Exhibitor Deadline is December 31
Wessington Springs 12th grader Avery Orth has been busy planning her senior project for months now, taking on the revitalization of the Farm and Home show after a three years hiatus of the event.
Since the beginning of the school year, she has been coordinating logistics and securing vendors for the February 19, 2024 show, which will go by the name “Farm, Home & Health Show” next year, with the goal of 120 exhibitors and a lineup of speakers from not only agriculture but also politics, health care and DIY/craft industries.
“This show is not only for farmers and people in the ag industry but really for everyone. We will have vendors and speakers from a variety of industries and we even have a hands on craft/DIY workshop,” said Orth. “Attendees can enjoy a full day of fun and education plus a free lunch.”
The show, planned for President’s Day, will be held at the Wessington Springs Elementary School gymnasium and newly constructed rec center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
