The 2025 Jerauld/Buffalo Achievement Days have come to a close, with a combined total of entries for both livestock and display exhibits totaling 255.
The livestock show was held at the Jerauld County Barn/ Arena on August 5. Judge Matt Weber from Lake Benton, MN presided over the livestock show, with Wayne Fischer from Arlington, SD judging the poultry division. Delaney Zoss of Forestburg, SD judged the rabbit division.
Static display exhibit judges included Becky Thompson, Brady Duxbury, Alicia Roesler and Cindy Eilers all of Wessington Springs. Also judging were Sue Faulhaber of Plankinton and Karen Lambert of Artesian.
“We’d like to extend a special thank you to our judges, volunteers and sponsors,” shared Audra Scheel, SDSU Extension 4-H Programs Educator for Jerauld-Buffalo and Sanborn Counties. “We couldn’t do it without you!”
