June 2024 Marks 10 and 100-Year Tornado Anniversaries
Today marks the 10-year anniversary of the June 18, 2014 tornado that caused devastating damage across Jerauld County. The True Dakotan newspaper edition published by the Wenzel Family the following week illustrates the damage while highlighting the optimism and hope embodied by the community.
