Mikkelson brings tanning, sauna services to Wessington Springs
Jenna Mikkelson opened Relax and Revive in Wessington Springs in April, combining two things she had already come to enjoy herself — tanning and sauna use — with the convenience of 24-hour access. Mikkelson, pictured with the studio’s infrared sauna, said she wanted to bring services to town that residents otherwise might travel elsewhere to use.
For Jenna Mikkelson, the idea behind Relax and Revive started with a realization somewhere along the miles between Wessington Springs and Huron.
She loved tanning. Her daughter, Londyn, did too. But with three children and a busy schedule, finding time for it wasn’t always easy, especially when it meant a trip out of town.
As prom approached last spring, those trips became even more frequent.
