When Cory Zacher stepped into the Humm Dinger in Wessington Springs following the sudden death of his brother and c-store owner Jason, buying the business wasn’t part of the plan.
Cory and his wife, Lisa, already had plenty on their plate. The couple, who live on Pickerel Lake in northeastern South Dakota, own a convenience store and liquor store in Minnesota and a grocery store in North Dakota.
