Hometown Holidays to Deliver Down-Home Dazzle
Banding together to deliver a season to remember right here at home, area businesses and organizations are excited to announce “Hometown Holidays,” set to sparkle beginning Tuesday, November 28 though December in Wessington Springs.
Kicking off the festivities is the beloved “Holiday Spectacular” community Christmas tree lighting event at the northwest corner of city hall at 6 p.m. on November 28. Once the tree is lit, area businesses are offering holiday-shop-and-dine local opportunities with specials galore for everyone on your Christmas list.
Looking ahead to December 2, horse-drawn wagon rides and hot cocoa in the Field House return for “Winter Magic in the Park.” See all the details in this week's print and e-edition on PAGE NINE
Later that afternoon, head to Main Street for the Museum and Jensen’s Open House and Christmas Tour of Homes and Businesses event. This fundraiser for Jerauld County Pioneer Museum not only features holiday tours and open houses but also refreshments and chances to win prizes.
