Alpena Community Foundation provides $5,000 grant funding for the Alpena Volunteer FD

    Rob Baruth, President of the Alpena Community Foundation, presented a $5,000 check to Alpena Fire Chief Gerry Orth on July 30 at the Alpena Fire Department Tractor Pull fundraiser. The grant funds will be used to help purchase a newer fire truck for the fire department.
