There’s a NewTrail to See in 2023

Hundreds of horse-drawn wagons and riders on horseback will unite together again to make their way along this year’s route for the much-loved Kyle Evans Memorial Wagon Train. The event begins Thursday, September 7 through Saturday September 9.

The public is welcome to the campsite Friday night and encouraged to bring lawn chairs to enjoy concessions served up by area churches along with entertainment. From Wessington Springs, go four miles south on 383rd Ave, one mile west on 233rd St., and 1/2 mile south.

Wagons and riders will arrive in Wessington Springs in time for Saturday’s Bud Light Bull Bash action at the Jerauld County 4-H Rodeo Grounds.
