The Avenue of Flags will be displayed at the Jerauld County Courthouse, weather permitting.
8:30 a.m. at WSHS — Veterans and their spouses are invited for coffee and rolls with the senior class at the high school.
12:30 p.m. at WS Elementary School — Veterans and their spouses are invited to eat lunch at the Elementary School gymnasium. If planning on attending, please call Wessington Springs High School, 605-539-9391, by Wednesday, November 9.
2 p.m. at Elementary School Gymnasium — Wessington Springs Schools will host a Veterans Day Program. This event will be live-streamed for community members to view online and on Venture channel 382.
Sunday, November 13
3 p.m. at the Jerauld County 4-H Building - The public is invited to a Veteran Appreciation event featuring free homemade pie and ice cream sponsored by Foothills Bible Fellowship, Wessington Springs Community, Springs Area Bus, ROCS Nutrition, Jerauld County, True Dakotan, WSHS Ag Ed class, Avera Weskota Memorial Hospital, VFW, American Bank & Trust.
