From the Halls of WSHS
From the halls of WSHS we bring a project completed by Advanced Art III senior, Brock Krueger. This drawing was completed in colored pencils after Brock found a photograph of this mountain lion in an outdoor magazine. He decided to adjust the colors of the mountain lion a bit and changed the background to a simple but bold black. Brock was able to draw the mountain lion in a realistic art style by creating lots of little lines and layering the colored pencils on top of each other. This technique creates a realistic hair texture. Brock did a great job paying close attention to details in the face and ears. The finished product looks amazing and Brock plans to enter this in a few art competitions during the school year.
