Nine students from Miller, De Smet, Huron and Alpena are more than halfway through the first Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course sponsored by the newly formed Beadle County EMS organization.
The inaugural class marks an important step in strengthening emergency medical services across the region. Due to early interest and community need, Beadle County EMS is already exploring the possibility of offering a second EMT course beginning in May 2026 and running through early August.
