Community Events Set to Scare up some Halloween Fun

Look no further than Wessington Springs for plenty of spooky, family fun this Halloween with plenty of tricks and treats up for grabs Tuesday on Halloween. 

Halloween Walk kicks off a night of trick or treating
Little ghouls and goblins are invited by the Wessington Springs Area Chamber and Development to kick off Halloween trick or treating in Wessington Springs with a Halloween Walk on Main Street and throughout the business district, Tuesday, October 31 from 3:30 - 5 p.m. 

Jerauld/Buffalo 4-H Trunk or Treat at the 4-H Building ** NOTE NEW LOCATION
On Tuesday, October 31 from 4-6 p.m., Jerauld/Buffalo 4-H members are hosting a Trunk or Treat in the 4-H Building— a fun opportunity to fill up Halloween sacks with lots of candy. 

Nursing home invites trick or treaters inside
After they hit up the 4-H Trunk or Treat and before children head out into the community to trick or treat, the Manor and Weskota Apartments invite costume-clad kids to visit nursing home and apartment residents as they dole out candy from 4:30 - 6 p.m. in the Manor dining room.
