Just before the first pitch at last week’s Teener baseball game in Wessington Springs, the Jerry and Betty Higgins family held a key handover ceremony with the city’s Mayor Brian Bergeleen, officially gifting the brandnew concession stand at the ball field to the municipality in memory of the family’s late patriarch.
