PTO Fundraising Events Raise Over $30,000 for Carothers Family

Area schools, organizations and individuals demonstrated outpouring of support

    In an email sent to the school community by Wessington Springs Elementary School Principal Becky Fjerstad, she announced that the local fundraising efforts for the Reba Carothers family raised just over $30,000 with more donations still coming in. “This support for the family goes to show what an amazing community we live in.
