With the final floor slab completed on January 10 followed by the required time for curing, this week’s upward action is a welcome sign of progress as the first panels of the steel building were erected south of the elementary school. The footprint of what will become the school’s auxiliary gymnasium and rec center is easier to fathom now as the framework goes vertical. Shown above is the very first steel panel as it was put in place earlier this week on Sunday and Monday.
