  • Much more than just a tractor parade, Maverick Jones with passenger Blake Larson drove a semi truck. Parade viewers witnessed the impressive bond between WSHS, its students and the agricultural heritage that runs deep across the area.

    With the Wessington Springs FFA Chapter banner proudly hung in the front of a Fendt tractor driven by Alyssa Grohs with passenger Raylee Fagerhaug, the second annual WSHS Tractor Parade rumbled through town Monday, April 15. With the South Dakota State FFA Convention just days away, the parade served as a state send-off for the dozens of teams and individuals who qualified for competition later this week at the state level.
