South Dakota Planting and Production Progress

According to an updated news release from the National Agricultural Statistic Service (USDA, Northern Plains Region) the current planting and production percentages across South Dakota are shown below:

• Corn Planted: 66% Emerged: 17%

• Soybeans Planted: 37% Emerged: 7%

• Winter Wheat Condition: 1% very poor, 2% poor, 23% fair, 62% good and 12% excellent

• Winter Wheat Headed: 1%

• Pasture & Range Report: 0% very poor, 0% poor, 18% fair, 75% good, and 7% excellent
