The Springs Area Bus is currently working with the school to pick up students that live in town in Wessington Springs in the morning and take them home after school. For safety reasons, the Springs Area Bus will be doing curbside pickups only. Students are instructed against crossing the street to get on the bus and students are not to cross the street after exiting the bus.
The school district asks the community to be aware of this new role taken on by the Springs Area Bus and take extra caution when seeing that and any school bus.
