The Senior/Community Center hosted an afternoon of bingo followed by a freewill donation taco bar meal on Sunday, January 15. Approximately twenty people came to play bingo from 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. with a few more people coming after 2:30. The final bingo game of the day was a black-out with the winner receiving half the pot plus a gift basket with all the fixings for a pot roast dinner, including the pot roast.
Following the bingo games everyone stayed to eat at the taco bar served up by volunteers. Throughout the evening hours, people who missed the bingo games, stopped in to grab a taco and visit.
The Thrivent Action Team donated funds for the food and advertising expenses. Desserts were all donated by members of the Senior/Community Center. A good time was had by all. Watch for upcoming bingo dates in True Dakotan.
