Wessington Springs students will celebrate Homecoming 2025 the week of Sept. 22–26 with the theme “Dr. Seuss Books.”
Both the elementary and high school have set themed dress-up days throughout the week leading up to Friday’s parade and football game.
Elementary School Dress-Up Days
Monday: Pajama Day – Dr. Seuss’s Sleep Book Tuesday: Hat Day – The Cat in the Hat and 500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins Wednesday: Wacky Wednesday – Wacky Wednesday Thursday: Crazy Socks and Spartan Spark Shirt – Fox in Socks Friday: Wear red/blue Blackhawks gear – One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish
High School Dress-Up Days
Monday: Pajama Day – How the Grinch Stole Christmas Tuesday: Twin Day – Thing 1 & Thing 2 Wednesday: Wacky Wednesday Thursday: “You’re Only Old Once” (7th grade – Babies, 8th – Toddlers, 9th – High Schoolers, 10th – College Students, 11th – Adults, 12th – Seniors) Friday: Spirit Day
