The annual HuntSAFE Program will be held in Wessington Springs on September 9, 11 and 13. The first two sessions will be held from 6 - 9:30 p.m. at the Jerauld County Courthouse. The final session will be held at the Jerauld County Trap Club range from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Thanks to generous donations received through this week, ROCS announced it will continue Sunday transportation to worship services via the Springs Area Bus through October 26, 2025. Additionally, Meals on Wheels deliveries will continue uninterrupted through November 28, 2025.
On Sunday, August 3, 2025, Pastor Cheri Van Gorp of Wessington Springs Methodist Church, alongside Pastor Don Grubb of Foothills Bible Fellowship and Pastor Mike Easter of Immanuel Baptist Church, led a special community church service at the Wessington Springs Senior Citizens Center. Nathan and Madilyn Gaikowski provided the music throughout the service. A special offering was collected, totaling $485 to be used toward rent for the senior center building and general donation to the senior center.
