Annual Brett Boomer Golf Tournament Raises Over $3,800 for Alpena Fire Department

The 13th Annual Brett Boomer Memorial Golf Classic, held Saturday, June 14, raised more than $3,800 to benefit the Alpena Volunteer Fire Department, continuing a tradition of supporting local emergency services while honoring the memory of Brett Boomer.

The 2025 Summer Reading Program, “Color Our World,” hosted by and held at the Wessington Springs Carnegie Library will be held Wednesday and Thursday, July 16 and 17 and July 23 and 24.The program start time for all four dates will be 12 p.m.
