Spartans and Warbirds Qualify Runners to Cross Country State Meet

    At the Region 4B cross country meet on Wednesday, October 15 in Gettysburg, the Wessington Springs Spartans and Wolsey-Wessington Warbirds qualified runners to the state meet, with Wolsey-Wessington’s Kendal Uttecht claiming the race title with a time of 19:13.30. Warbird runner Mya Flemming qualified in 13th place with a time of 21:41.50.

    For the Spartans, two runners qualified with Alexis Roesler in 15th place (21:54.40) and Masynn Mebius taking 16th place (22:07.40). All are scheduled to compete at the state meet at Broadland Creek Golf Course in Huron on October 25, 2025 at 2:30 p.m.
