If your doorbell rings during the evening hours on Wednesday before Halloween, it won’t be because someone has their days mixed up.
On Wednesday night, October 29, members of the Community Youth Group and St. Joseph’s CCD will be going door-todoor in Wessington Springs conducting their annual “Trickor- Treat for the Food Pantry.”
Youth will gather for supper at 6:30 p.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church before fanning out through the city to collect from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Current, non-perishable food items and paper products are welcome. No partial containers, please. Residents who are missed may drop off their items at Our Savior’s later in the week.
The youth groups and organizers extend their thanks to all who donate to help support the local food pantry and families in need throughout the community.
