"You spoke, we listened"
After months of community collaboration, the Wessington Springs Destination Core Team (DCT) is inviting residents to see how local input is shaping the future of tourism and the revitalization of the Old Grade Trail.
The public presentation will take place Friday, November 7, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Springs Inn Café on Main Street. The event will include a look at findings and deliverables developed through recent tourism planning sessions and surveys, which were part of Wessington Springs’ participation in Travel South Dakota’s Destination Development Program.
Organizers say the evening will highlight the results of community-driven efforts to enhance local attractions and promote Wessington Springs as a welcoming destination. Food will be available for purchase before the presentation.
“Our next steps can be intimidating, but we’ll conquer them together as a community,” Troy Duxbury shared. “Please join us and invite anyone interested in our town’s tourism future.”
