I wrote my Cuppy’s Corner News Monday morning. Delia Atkinson got it later in the forenoon. It was a cold day. I enjoyed the hamburger, tater tots, and blueberry dessert from the Manor kitchen. In the evening, I watched the Minnesota Vikings play the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams won big 27-9.
Tuesday, I went to physical therapy with Brittany at 1 p.m. The Methodist Women’s Fellowship met in the dining room at 2:30 p.m. Attending were Pastor Cheri Van Gorp, Diane Patton, Diane Winter, Cheryl Manthei, Rochelle Witte, Elaine Roetman, Sandy Wenzel, Mary Lou Cameron and me.
Lorraine Schultz was hostess for our 9 a.m. coffee on Wednesday. She served club crackers and cheese. Enjoying the food and fellowship along with me, were Kathy Larson, Luella Teveldal, Judy Baumgart, Joyce Mees.
Bingo was played at 2 p.m. Lyle Pawlowski called the numbers. I enjoyed the afternoon with Doris Deneke, Ruth Jensen, Shirley Bender, Joyce Mees, Luella Teveldal, Marilyn Robbins, Judy Baumgart, and Lynette Marken. Coffee and cookies were served.
Thursday, I enjoyed the ham and cheese potatoes, green beans and pineapple from the Senior Center. It was delivered by Jim Deines. Baliegh Grace Sails came to my apartment after school on Thursday and ate supper with m e . We watched the girls’ basketball 281 Tournament games. Starting at 3 p.m. the games went as follows: Sanborn Central/ Woonsocket 66 to James Valley 10, Wessington Springs Spartans 48 to Wolsey/Wessington 38, Highmore/Harrold 50 to Sunshine Bible Academy 20, Hitchcock/Tulare 47 to Iriquois 34.
Friday, I enjoyed the chicken strip dinner from the Senior Center. That afternoon at 3:30 p.m. the boys’ basketball 281 Tournament games started with the following results: Wolsey/ Wessington won 77-29 over Sunshine Bible Academy, Iriquois 68-64 over James Valley, Wessington Springs Spartans 6935 over Hitchcock/ Tulare, Sanborn Central/ Woonsocket Blackhawks 53-42 over Highmore/ Harrold.
Sunday was a very cold day. The bus did not drive for church. I could watch the service on my tablet. Technology is amazing!
I enjoyed the roast beef dinner and pie from the Manor kitchen.
