Prom season is right around the corner and the search for the perfect dress doesn’t have to wait or break the bank.
P.E.O. Chapter D of Wessington Springs is putting the final touches on its third annual Priceless Prom Dress Resale Event, happening Saturday, Jan. 31, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 1, from noon to 4 p.m. at the Historic 1905 Opera House in Wessington Springs.
Dress racks are filling fast, and area students are encouraged to come early and browse a wide selection of beautiful, affordable prom gowns in every style, size and color. The event offers a stress-free, no-pressure shopping experience with no appointments required and walk-ins are welcome. Dozens of pre-loved dresses will be available, giving shoppers the chance to find something truly special while staying within budget. Volunteers will be on hand throughout the weekend to help with sizing and selection, and custom alterations will be available on site, making it possible to leave confident, comfortable and prom-ready.
Beyond finding the perfect dress, each purchase carries extra meaning. All proceeds support scholarships and educational opportunities for women, turning every gown into an investment in the future.
