The Wolsey-Wessington Warbirds closed out their 2025–26 boys basketball season on Tuesday, March 3, falling to No. 3 seed Wessington Springs 71–40 in Region 2B quarterfinal action.
While the postseason loss ended the Warbirds’ tournament run, head coach Austin Kemnitz said the season as a whole was one marked by steady growth and strong leadership from the team’s senior class.
