Wessington Springs takes early lead before Clark rallies late for 6-5 win

MITCHELL — The Wessington Springs Owls saw their season come to a heartbreaking end Friday at the Class B State Amateur Baseball Tournament, falling 6-5 to the Clark Traders in a game that came down to the final innings at Cadwell Park.
The Owls led much of the way and outhit Clark 8-6, but a three-run eighth inning allowed the Traders to erase a 5-3 deficit and take their first lead of the game.
