On Thursday, Sept. 10, the cross-country team traveled to De Smet to compete at the golf course.
Carson Clements ran a strong race, covering the 5K course in 18:05.84 to finish fifth and earn a medal. A total of 57 runners competed in the varsity boys race.
Ella Kolousek represented the Spartans in the varsity girls 5K, finishing in 27:49.94. She placed 34th among 38 runners.
