Bucks battle Mobridge-Pollock in Forestburg on 9/11

    The Woonsocket-Wessington Springs-Sanborn Central Bucks fell 24-0 to Mobridge-Pollock in football action, but Head Coach Michael Schmitz saw continued improvement from his team.

    “As a team, we are definitely taking steps forward,” Schmitz said. “We put together a few good drives, and the defense played well. I am happy to see this team continue to work hard and continue to get better each week.”

    Grason Finn completed 5 of 9 passes for 40 yards, with Carson Finn hauling in four receptions for 40 yards. Wesley Molnar carried six times for 15 yards.

    Carson Finn led the defense with nine tackles, including two tackles for loss. Nathan Gaikowski added eight tackles, including three for loss.

    “On to the next one for next week,” Schmitz said.
