If your doorbell rings the Wednesday before Halloween, it won't be because someone has their days mixed up.
On Wednesday, Oct. 28, members of the Community Youth Group will go door-todoor in Wessington Springs for their annual "Trick-or-Treat for the Food Pantry" collection.
Youth will gather for supper at 6:30 p.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church before heading out to collect donations from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Residents are encouraged to donate nonperishable food items and paper products. All items should be current and unopened. No partial containers, please.
Those who are missed may drop off donations at Our Savior's Lutheran Church later in the week.
The youth groups and organizers thank everyone who contributes to supporting the local food pantry and families in need throughout the community.
