Sandra “Sandi” Ann Willman age 57 of Wessington Springs, formerly of Woonsocket, passed away peacefully on Monday April 18, 2022 surrounded by family and love.
Memorial service was held Saturday April 23 at 11 a.m. in the Basham Funeral Home, Woonsocket, SD with inurnment at St. Wilfrid Catholic Cemetery. Pastor Bruce Olivier officiated. Visitations were on Saturday, one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
Sandi was born on January 24, 1965 to Leonard and Beatrice (Twombly) Vetter. She was later joined by her sister Lynn.
Sandi grew up in rural Woonsocket where she attended school, graduating in 1983. Following high school, she attended Stewarts school of Cosmetology in Sioux Falls. Sandi was united in marriage to the love of her life, Gary, on January 22, 1982. To this union Sandi was blessed with her children who were her pride and joy: Christopher, Tabitha and Skylar. Sandi poured her time into raising her children while working at Van Dykes Restorers for over 20 years, most recently working at Dak Pak in Woonsocket. Sandi enjoyed spending her time in her flower beds, reading a good book and an occasional camping trip. She was always in the mood for a visit with a friend, a hot cup of coffee or her favorite, a cold glass of wine.
Sandi was met in Heaven by her parents Leonard and Bea, her sister Lynn, Uncles Larry and Don and her mother and father-in-law. Happy for having shared in her beautiful life are her husband Gary, Wessington Springs; children Christopher (Wendy) Sioux Falls; Tabitha (Zac), Wessington Springs; and Skylar, Sioux Falls. Her beloved grandchildren Tannor Willman, Chase Linn, Halle Linn, Aliza Bolin, and Channing Willman-Zoss and one very special niece Alexis (Matt) Vetter, Sioux Falls. Sandi will also be dearly missed by many friends and extended family members.
