Elections Held In City of Wessington Springs Tuesday

    Tuesday, April 8, 2025 marked election day in the City of Wessington Springs. Polls were open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. at the Jerauld County 4-H Building.

    The following elections were held:

    • WARD 2 City Council – for a One (1) Year Term. Candidates: Layton Schimke and Beth Magistro

    • WARD 2 City Council – for a Two (2) Year Term. Candidates: Cherie Maxwell and Johnathan Jooste

    • WARD 3 City Council – for a Two (2) Year Term. Candidates: Shawn Tobin, Eva Voorhees and Kim Christensen

    • In WARD 1, Kari Fagerhaug ran unopposed.
