WSHS Announces Royalty Court as Homecoming Week Continues

    The Class of 2023 kicked off WSHS Homecoming week with a splash Sunday night, carrying on the much-loved tradition of whitewashing Main Street and other thoroughfares across town.

    Wednesday, September 28

    • MS/HS Dress Up Days: PJ Day

    • Elementary Dress Up Days: Easter Eggers (dress in colorful Easter colors)

    • Central Land and Range Contest @ Home

    • Boys Volleyball Game - 3 p.m.

    Thursday, September 29

    • MS/HS Dress Up Days: Wear your favorite holiday attire (can be anywhere from a Halloween costume to an ugly Christmas sweater)

    • Elementary Dress Up Days: Valentine’s - We LOVE the Spartans and Blackhawks (wear red)

    • Arlington Marching Band Festival

    • Coronation @ Elementary School Gym - 7 p.m.

    • Burning of the “WS” after Coronation @ Elementary Parking lot

    • Car Smashing after “WS” Burning @ Elementary Parking lot

    Friday, September 30

    • MS/HS Dress Up Days: Wear your Homecoming shirt or School Spirit gear

    • Elementary Dress Up Days: School Spirit Day (dress in Spartan or Blackhawk attire)

    • Powder Puff Football Game @ Football Field - 11:30 a.m.

    • Pep Rally open to the public 12:15 p.m. @ Football Field

    • Elementary Dismissal - 1 p.m. (Students will be dismissed from football field. No afternoon busses will be running.)

    • Homecoming Parade - 2 p.m.

    • Pie and Ice Cream Social - After Homecoming Parade @ WS Senior Center

    • Blackhawk Football vs Mobridge Pollock @ WS (senior night) - 7 p.m
