Venture Communications paid gross receipts tax for the year 2021 to schools in the area where Venture serves. Taxes are paid annually in August to the South Dakota Department of Revenue. The state then disburses the taxes to statefunded school districts based on the revenue generated by customers in each school district. Wessington Springs Schools received $49,324.
