    Community invited to open houses at courthouse this week

    It’s no secret that the holiday season in Jerauld County is steeped in tradition, and the Parade of Trees at the courthouse always rises to the top of the must-do list during Christmas time. In recent years, Jerauld County employees have added wreaths to the event and new this year, nativity scenes were added to the display.

    The community is invited to tour the courthouse this week to view the dazzling display of Christmas trees, wreaths and nativity scenes, decorated and displayed by area businesses and individuals.

    Folks are encouraged to visit the holiday showplace December 21, 22 and 23 during business hours. Coffee, cider and snacks will be served and attendees will have the opportunity to sign up for a door prize.
