Dozens of sledders dotted the ski hill in Wessington Springs Sunday to enjoy fresh snow and mild temps for the last sled of the season February 26. “We’d say the Winter Park went out with a bang! Lots of fun, people on the hill, ice skating and hanging out in the Field House,” said Winter Park Activities organizers Gwyneth Fastnacht and Loree Gaikowski. “Thank you to the city crew for keeping the park ready to go. They’ve moved lots of snow this week AND gotten the park ready for fun. Thank you to everyone who came and enjoyed the city park amenities this winter!”
