Will continue to see patients under normal schedule
For the past nineteen years, Dr. Lance Lim has played an integral part in leading Horizon’s clinical efforts through many organizational growth and changes. On March 1, Dr. Lim resigned from his role of Chief Medical Officer at Horizon Health Care.
“I am grateful to have had Dr. Lim as our Chief Medical Officer and a colleague throughout this time,”saidChief Executive Officer Wade Erickson. “His commitment to the health center mission has been unwavering, and I appreciate all that he has done to help lead Horizon where we are today.”
Dr. Lim will continue to provide clinical care under his normal schedule at Jerauld County Community Health Center, Bryant Community Health Center, Lake Preston CommunityHealthCenter, De Smet Community Health Center, and Woonsocket Community Health Center. He will also continue serving at the nursing homes, emergency room, and hospital settings that he currently serves.
Horizon is pleased to announce Misty Rudebusch, PA-C, MPAS, as the new Chief Medical Officer. Rudebusch joined Horizon Health Care in 2016 and has been serving at Howard Community Health Center. In 2017, she was appointed to the position of Clinical Director. In 2020, she was promoted to Medical Director, as she helped lead Horizon’s COVID-19 response efforts. Over the past few years, she has played an integral role in building the clinical support team and enhancing efforts of providing lab and clinical support to all of Horizon’s care teams.
“We are very excited to see Misty step into this new role and lead our organization toward a more cohesive and integrated system dedicated to medical, dental, and behavioral health care,” said Erickson.
As Rudebusch steps into her new position, she will continue to see patients on a part-time basis at Howard Community Health Center.
