Outdoor Community Church Service Draws a Crowd

Nearly 100 people gathered in worship together in Wessington Springs City Park Sunday for an outdoor community church service. Led by Pastor Zach Kingery of the Wessington Springs United Methodist Church, the service featured live music, a testimony and two baptisms — one of which was conducted in the city pool adjacent to where the service was held.

The service, held just before Independence Day, expressed appreciation to the freedoms enjoyed in the United States, including the freedom to worship.
